2. Articles that are not in line with the journal's publication objectives will be rejected outright.
3. Articles containing any statements that constitute a criminal offence will be rejected outright.
4. Necessary corrections during the preparation of articles for publication will be suggested to the author. D3Sjournal reserves the right to reject an article at any stage.

7. Even if an article is accepted, it will be removed from publication if it is later found to be unethical.

Author Responsibilities
1. Submitted articles must be prepared in accordance with ethical rules.
2. The originality of submitted articles is assumed to be accepted by the author(s). Articles should not have been published on any platform, in any language, or submitted to any platform for publication.
3. Copyrighted materials used in articles are published only with valid permission and copyright approval. The responsibility for obtaining such permissions lies with the author of the article.
4. The author of the article acknowledges that they own the rights to the tables, figures, and other materials used in the article and that they have properly cited the sources in case of quotations. Therefore, in case of any violation, the legal responsibility lies with the author.
5. Authors mentioned in the article should be limited to those who have made significant contributions to the article. The author or authors are obliged to contact the relevant editor immediately if they notice any scientific errors, even if the article has been published.
6. The similarity rate for articles is 20%, and the artificial intelligence rate is also 20%.

Reviewer Responsibilities
1. Reviewers evaluate submitted manuscripts objectively, focusing solely on their scientific content.
2. Reviewers should have no conflict of interest or competitive relationship with the authors.
3. Reviewers who have contributed to the writing process of the article should decline to evaluate it. In such cases, the article is submitted to another reviewer.
4. Reviewers must complete the article evaluation form in full and in detail. If a rejection decision is made, the reasons for the rejection must be detailed in writing.
5. Reviewers must not seek to gain any benefit from the articles submitted to them.
6. Reviewers must indicate any publications that have not been cited in the articles. They are obliged to keep all information related to the article confidential and to inform the editor of any plagiarism committed by the author.
7. If the referee considers that the submitted article does not fall within their field of expertise or that they cannot evaluate it within the specified time frame, they must inform the editor of the journal and withdraw from the evaluation. In this case, the article is submitted to another referee.

Review Process
All articles submitted to the Journal of Digitalisation and Sustainability in Social Sciences undergo a double-blind review process. Each article is reviewed by at least two external independent reviewers who are experts in their fields to ensure an impartial review process. In the event of a submission by members of the Editorial Board, an external and independent editor is invited to manage the article review process. The Editor-in-Chief has the final authority in the decision-making process for all submissions.
Following the article review process, editorial revisions may be requested to ensure the clarity and comprehensibility of articles accepted for publication, without altering the data.
