Call for Academic Papers on Digitalization and Sustainability


D3S – Digitalization and Sustainability in Social Sciences is an internationally peer-reviewed journal that supports research focusing on digitalization and sustainability in the social sciences. Original research articles in Turkish and English are invited to our journal, which is published quarterly (January–May–September).

Main themes:
• Examining digital transformation processes in the social sciences (e.g., e-education, digital society, smart cities).
• Analyzing sustainability concepts in social, economic, or cultural contexts.
• The impact of digital technologies on sustainable development.
• Interdisciplinary approaches from different fields of the social sciences on digitalization and sustainability.
• Theoretical or applied contributions with methodological focus (qualitative, quantitative, mixed).

Publication and evaluation policy:
• Double-blind peer review is applied.
• Open access; access is free after publication.
• Writing in Turkish and/or English is possible.


Key dates:
• Editor and pre-selection period: 2 weeks
• First peer review period: ~4–8 weeks later
• Accepted articles: It is published taking into account the submission and acceptance dates.


Writing and submission requirements:
Authors must adhere to the writing rules and templates in D3S's "Author Guidelines" section; submit in Word format; and adhere to the plagiarism policy.

Register as an author in the journal's online system and submit the article through the "Make a Submission" tab.
