- Call for Academic Articles on Digitalisation and Sustainability
D3S - Digitalisation and Sustainability in Social Sciences is an international peer-reviewed journal that supports research focusing on digitalisation and sustainability in social sciences disciplines. Published quarterly (January-May-September), the journal welcomes original research articles in Turkish and English.
Main themes: - Analysing digital transformation processes in social sciences (e.g. e-education, digital society,
smart cities). - Analysing sustainability concepts in social, economic or cultural contexts.
- Impacts of digital technologies on sustainable development.
- Interdisciplinary approaches in the cross-section of digitalisation and sustainability from different fields of social sciences.
- Theoretical or applied contributions with methodological (qualitative, quantitative, mixed) orientated studies.
Publication and evaluation policy: - Double anonymised (double-blind) peer review is applied.
- Open access; post-publication access is free of charge.
- Writing in Turkish and/or English is possible.
Key dates - Editorial and pre-screening period 2 weeks
- Initial peer review period: 4-8 weeks post
- Accepted articles: It is published taking into account the submission and acceptance dates.
Writing and submission requirements:
Authors should follow the spelling rules and templates in the "Author Guidelines" section of D3S, submit in Word format, and abide by the plagiarism policy.

You must register as an author in the journal's online system and submit the article from the "Make a Submission" tab.
